THE POWER OF ILLUSTRATION (Moderator)
Illustration is an amazing skill that can truly add a new layer to any story, be it a graphic novel, a picture book, or even animation. Michelle Lam (Meesh the Bad Demon), Meghan Boehman and Rachael Briner (Dear Rosie), and Rachel Ignotofsky (What's Inside a Bird's Nest?) are all creative masters of the craft of visual storytelling. These talented illustrators discuss their careers, their processes, and why visual storytelling can connect with readers on an entirely different level. Moderated by George O’Connor (Asgardians: Odin).
